Advertise with LetterHouseMedia
Our newsletters reach readers who chose to receive them and open them on their own schedule. We sell a small number of sponsor placements in each issue, label every one of them, and keep them visibly separate from editorial.
A media kit with audience and performance figures for each publication is available on request. We'd rather send you current numbers than print figures here that go out of date.
Placements
Each issue has a fixed set of sponsor positions. Availability varies by publication and date.
| Placement | Where it appears | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Primary sponsor | The first sponsor block in the issue, near the top | Launches, a single clear message, brand awareness |
| Secondary sponsor | A sponsor block further into the issue | Ongoing campaigns and supporting messages |
| Classified | A short text listing in the classifieds section | Tight budgets, testing a message, niche offers |
| Footer | A brief line near the issue footer | Lightweight presence and frequency |
We can book single issues, runs across consecutive days, or placements across more than one publication where the audiences fit. We also make some inventory available through established newsletter sponsorship networks.
How booking works
- Tell us what you're after. Your product, goals, timing and preferred publications.
- Proposal. We confirm availability and send dates, placements and pricing.
- Insertion order. Once you sign, the dates are held for you, and we invoice against the signed order.
- Creative and review. You send copy, links and any claims you want to make, with substantiation. Our compliance review and an editor approve the creative before it runs. We may ask for edits.
- Run and follow-up. The placement runs as booked. If it doesn't run as booked, we schedule a make-good. Reporting is agreed in the insertion order.
Standards for sponsors
- Every placement is labelled. "Sponsored", "Advertisement" or "Paid partnership" appears on every sponsor block, in a style that is the same across all of our publications and can't be restyled to look like editorial.
- Affiliate links are disclosed in the same block as the link.
- Claims need support. Factual claims in sponsor copy must come with evidence, which we keep on file with the creative.
- Editorial independence. Sponsors don't buy coverage, review editorial before it runs, or influence what our newsrooms report.
- Things we don't run. Political and issue advertising is not accepted at present. Health claims we can't substantiate are declined, and health content on our publications doesn't carry affiliate links. We review every creative and may decline any that doesn't fit a publication or its readers.
